- Description
- This chapter will provide a policy and practice analysis of the Interactive E-learning Distance Education (IDeL) project in rural and remote Australia, a joint undertaking between the Australian government, the governments of New South Wales (NSW) and the Northern Territory (NT) and the information technology (IT) service provider Optus Singtel. In doing so, the chapter will also provide information about the relationships between new technology, the participants and their educational needs, expectations and practices that enable distance education to be done differently and, that data suggests, better.
